A Homecoming (short film)

In 2022 I wrote and co-directed a short film based on a childhood experience of growing up in western North Carolina. The film was part of the FIRSTS THAT LAST series funded by NC Tourism. The film was shot on located in the Cataloochee Valley and featured many of the real-life individuals from my story. What I’m most proud of however is my son got to play a younger version of me and the experience allowed him to get a sneak peak behind the scenes of what his dad does for a living. The movie turned out pretty nice as well.
